In his vocation to talk about Khmer culture, Theam keeps renovating and improving the decoration of his gallery. This series of sculptures representing the traditional Khmer umbrellas and fans is a nod to Angkorian era. You can see the depiction of these stylized umbrellas and fans on many of the bas-reliefs of Angkorian temples. Traditionally, the number of umbrellas being held over a character represent the level of his importance in the society. Only ancient Angkorian kings had the privilege to be surrounded by those attributes carried by his people standing on the floor
